Purple Haze Julep
INGREDIENTS
2oz Dr. Stoner’s Island Bush Herb Rum 1.5oz Dr. Stoner’s Purple Haze Sage Syrup
Top with Cola
MIXOLOGY
Muddle 4 mint leaves, Dr. Stoner’s Purple Haze Sage Syrup and Dr. Stoner’s Smoky Herb Whiskey in a highball glass, fill with ice, stir then top up with club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig atop.
PURPLE HAZE SAGE SYRUP RECIPE
10 Sage Leaves
20 Blueberries
2oz Grape Juice
1/4 Cup of Sugar
1/2 Cup of Water
Cut sage leaves into one-inch lengths. Place sage, blueberries, and 1/4 cup water in a blender and blend. Pour blender contents into a small saucepan. Use remainder of water to rinse blender contents and pour into saucepan with previous contents. Add sugar and grape juice then bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Remove and strain into a bowl to cool. Place contents into a squirt bottle to use as "Dr. Stoner's Purple Haze Sage Syrup".
